Our Goal is not only to be the most trusted and efficient partner, but the safest as well. By implementing an effective Occupational Health and Safety program, we are ensuring all of our employees work in a safe environment.
Our OH&S program includes responsibilities, job site safe work procedures and ongoing employee training and education. These Guidelines focus management, employee and trade contractor awareness on reducing risk of accidents an/or incidents in all activities. At the start of each project, all new workers receive an orientation to establish familiarity with all safety and site arrangements. Daily safety inspections are done to ensure safety compliance of all our workers.
Our safety practices are audited annually, as part of our ISO 9000:2008 Quality review, and Meridian Marine is striving to achieve the ISO 18001: Safety certification in the near future.
